When you apply for a credit card your application may be approved right away, however If your application is pending or under review, call Chase's Underwriting Dept at 1-888-609-7805, sometimes they simply want to verify who applied. If it’s declined, contact the reconsideration department at the same number. They can often help overturn the initial decision.

You can apply for two Ink Preferred Cards on the same day if you use two different business tax IDs and your name as the business name. This strategy can help you maximize your rewards.
You earn Chase Ultimate Reward points, which can be redeemed in a few ways. You can get cashback at 1 cent per point or CPP (1,000 points = $10), you can use points for travel at 1.25 cents per point on Chase Travel (1,000 points = $12.50). If you want even more value transfer it at 1.5 cents per point if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (1,000 points = $15), or transfer points to airline and hotel partners at a 1:1 ratio.

You can get this offer even if you currently have or have had the card before. For the same business, you can often get the same card again before 24 months. For a different business, apply anytime. A different person can also get the same card for the same business anytime.
Can an Authorized User on an Existing Ink Preferred Card Still Be Eligible?
Absolutely! Authorized users can still apply for their own Ink Preferred Card. Being an authorized user doesn’t affect their approval chances.
Hard Inquiries
For same-day applications, you’ll likely see just one hard inquiry. For applications on different days, it’s usually one inquiry, but occasionally two. It can vary.
5/24 Rule
If you’ve opened five or more personal credit cards in the last 24 months, Chase generally won’t approve you for a new credit card. Some people are getting approved even if they’re over the 5/24 limit, but it’s not guaranteed. Any personal credit cards, from any bank, counts toward this rule, open and closed if it was opened in last 24 months. Business cards, even from Chase, don’t count. Business Checking Account
When applying to a bank, having a checking account can help, especially when you're trying to get high limits but not having one is still completely fine.
Quick Card Delivery
Once approved, you can request overnight shipping by calling 1-800-945-2028, so you get your card as quickly as possible.
